Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for May 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Navi Mumbai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Delhi Public School. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

December 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Also see WP:COMMONNAME and usual format for railway stations. If having doubt, ask at WT:RR βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 18:55, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There was no discussion underway regarding moving the page. Also I have provided citations within the article justifying the name change. Anyways, what should I do now? Please suggest. This was my first attempt to move a page. Thank you. — Deepak_HK@talk 19:02, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, the basic fact is Mumbai CST is a property of Government of India maintained by both Ministry of Railways (India) and Archaeological Survey of India for its operations and sheer structure respectively, and Government of Maharashtra is responsible only for civilian security. The references too indicate that Maharashtra Legislative Assembly has passed a resolution for proposing to change the name of the station. The approved resolution will be sent to appropriate ministries in Government of India, which decides upon genuinity of the subject and scrutiny of proposal. The decision may or may not be approved. The period to decide on the concerned subject may vary in time from few days to several months. Hence it is too soon to change name. Also we in wikipedia use only commonly recognisable names, than official names. If you still have doubt, discuss on talk page of respective article before making any move. See WP:MOVE, to know more about it or ask at WT:RR. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 05:13, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks for the clarification. — Deepak_HK@talk 18:23, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
