Image copyright problem with Image:Hsscreenshot.PNG[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Hsscreenshot.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 23:52, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on HallaStar Forums, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:HallaStar Forums. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Tarrettalk 01:09, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:000veego.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:000veego.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:000veego.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:000veego.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:49, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Survivor America's Tribal Council.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Survivor America's Tribal Council.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 13:04, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hi there, Brett. I see that despite over a year of editing, you have yet to be greeted, so allow me to do so! I assume that you've found your feet here OK (well, you don't appear to have left, so that's a good sign!). If you need a list of links to help you out, check out the top of my talk page, or just ask me there. I also commend you on the helpful edits you've made to the various Survivor pages around the wiki. Would you be interested in joining the Survivor Task Force? Feel free to sign up (or not) and give us a hand with cleaning up those articles! One more thing, you are allowed to delete content off your user talk page (including warnings and cheesy messages like this one), per Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#User talk pages. (I saw this). Deleting something gives the assumption that it has been read, but don't feel the need to delete everything you've read if you don't want to. Altered comment on Talk:Survivor: Gabon[edit]

I altered your comment that you left on Talk:Survivor: Gabon. Instead of a copy of the mangled table that you found into the talk page, I replaced it with a link to the revision that you found. My edit was out of normal practice in that you should not alter other editor's comments. But with the anonymous IP that made the changes attempting to add suspect/unsourced spoiler information into the table, I didn't want to leave potentially spoiler or just wrong information on the talk page. If you feel that my change was wrong, please feel free to undo the change and accept my apologies. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:06, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I'm glad that it didn't bother you. Things can be rather confusing around here, especially when bizarre edits are happening like the one you found. Usually one of the Survivor regulars catches suspect edits fairly quickly, but not this time. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:54, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
