Speedy deletion of Confession (band)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Confession (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Matt (Talk) 08:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Resist records[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Resist records, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Resist records ‎references[edit]

In response to your email dated 1:48 pm 5 October 2008 (BST):

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Resist_records&diff=243177227&oldid=243165852
The references at Resist records (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) should now work.

The Hot Lies[edit]

Hi, i just saw your edit at The Hot Lies, you stated that you personally discovered the information, on wikipedia they refer to that as original research, which is basically outlawed. This is because personal edits become unvarifiable (people add total bull shit) and gain personal points of view. I'm going to refrain from reverting your edit because of the nature of it and it was in good faith, technically i probably should but meh. So anyway, you need reliable sources to add any information, anything without these technically shouldn't be on wikipedia. Hope this helps for the future, thanks! kiac (talk) 14:06, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unconsecrated[edit]

I have replied to your comment on my talk page, thanks for the message. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 12:46, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I left another reply on my talk page a couple of days ago, just in case you haven't seen it. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 08:15, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bleeders[edit]

Yeah that definitely is verifiable. Only i'd change "In 2005 vocalist Angelo, along with a friend, set up Deadboy Records" → "Vocalist Munro set up Deadboy Records." You should always use Surnames as opposed to first names, and the article is written in 2007 saying the label is "new", so it doesn't really indicate the label was created 2 years before, you're better off just leaving it unstated. Cheers. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 02:30, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Amber Calling[edit]

It's pretty simple once you get your head around all the guidelines and stuff. Read this page: Wikipedia:MUSIC. It explains the criteria required for a band to have a page on wikipedia. If the band passes any of those 12 points, we can create an article. They have 40000 myspace friends, so i'm sure there's some sources somewhere. I'll have a dig through the net and see if i can find anything. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 12:10, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, it doesn't help when they're signed to a label that has a whole 1 band. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 12:13, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Red Shore[edit]

I'm okay with a video released by the production company on MySpace, use the Cite video template maybe? As for the MySpace blog, that is a definite no. As it is self-published, unverified and whatnot. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 05:02, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
