You stated on the discussion on the Brigham Young University buildings page that you are a BYU student and asked how you could help. I posted some general guidelines to that discussion page. Here is a link to the BYU Harold B. Lee Library entry on "BYU: 1000 Views of 100 Years". http://primofe1.byu.edu/primo_library/libweb/action/display.do?ct=display&doc=byu_unicorn93606&indx=1&scp.scps=scope%3A(LEE)%2Cscope%3A(BYU)%2Cscope%3A(Unicorn_online)%2Cscope%3A(CONTENTdm)%2Cscope%3A(JUV)%2Cscope%3A(SPEC)%2Cscope%3A(INTERNET)%2Cscope%3A(SWKT)%2Cscope%3A(SLC)%2Cscope%3A(LEELRC)%2Cscope%3A(MUSIC)%2Cscope%3A(saskia)&tab=default_tab&fromLogin=true&mode=Basic&fctN=facet_rtype&fn=search&dscnt=0&dstmp=1292474676248&ct=facet&vid=byu-PC&indx=1&vl(freeText0)=BYU%3A 1000 Views of 100 Years&fctV=books Hopefully the link will work. The book is by Edwin Butterworth and BYU has 7 copies, 5 of which are circulating, and 2 of the circulating copies are currently checked in. In my History methods class we had a persentation of BYU special collections by someone connected with the BYU archives (it might have been archivist Gordon Daynes, but I am not sure on that) who said this is "a real fun book". That was in summer of 2002, which also involved me spending parts of at least three days at the DT pool. This book contains a discussion of the DT and Helaman Halls pools which could be used as a secure basis to include them on the buildings list. The one question is do either of these buildings still exist. To answer that question you will have to find something published after 1975 or go and look yourself. This book is probably the best starting place for helping the article on BYU buildings.John Pack Lambert (talk) 04:59, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

IEEE technical societies[edit]

If you are a member of one or more of the IEEE technical societies, you may wish to identify yourself as such on Wikipedia. I’ve created Wikipedian categories for each of the 38 IEEE technical societies. The new Template:User IEEE member creates a userbox identifying the society and your membership grade and includes your user page in the relevant Wikipedian category. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a note. Yours aye,  Buaidh  20:38, 11 December 2013 (UTC) — IEEE Life Member[reply]
