Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo into List of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo episodes. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Thank you, — Diannaa (talk) 14:15, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox television params[edit]

Regarding recent edits to the first_aired/last_aired parameters of the infobox on Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (season 4) and reversion of my corrections, please review Template:Infobox television for how these parameters are used. They should not be a future date - they should only be added after the date has occurred. Only after that date has passed should you add first_aired formatted with {{Start date}}. Also, last_aired for a current show should be "present" (not "scheduled"). The WikiProject Television has several maintenance categories that are monitored to fix problems with television related articles. When you don't follow the standards for these parameters, the article ends up in one of these categories and I or another editor who monitors the maintenance categories is going to end up coming along to fix it. So it would be best if you'd just edit within the current standards set for the infobox. Thanks! ButlerBlog (talk) 00:43, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Then how come I never seen this category on other pages when users did this edit before. VillainofWiki (talk) 01:23, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The category doesn't show on the page - it's the other way around - the page shows up in the category. That's how maintenance categories work. Any page using the {{infobox television}} that has an invalid first_aired/last_aired value (based on what we screen for) will eventually show up in Category:Pages using infobox television with nonstandard dates to be corrected. As I'm posting this, it's empty, but as it fills up, editors that monitor these maintenance categories will come around to fix the issues. It's not a huge deal to do it wrong if you're unaware; we'll just come around to fix it. But once it's fixed and you're aware, undoing it is considered WP:DISRUPTIVE. ButlerBlog (talk) 02:50, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of Trigun Stampede episodes, is not suitable as written to remain published, as the subject of the article will not premiere until 2023, making an article listing the show's episodes completely pointless. Primal[edit]

Please keep in mind that any unproven or unsourced Adult Swim schedule assumptions can and justifiable can be reverted. Not to mention, you are wrong about the September 10th date, even if you did make a weekly assumption. Even without taking a potential Labor Day weekend break into consideration, going by weekly assumptions (and I emphasize assumption) the last episode would be September 17th, not the 10th. GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 20:19, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh that's right, I forgot about the Labor Day marathon. Thanks for reminding me. VillainofWiki (talk) 20:52, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
