Thanks for what you've been doing at the Island Rail article[edit]

Thank you for all you've been doing at the Island Rail article. I've opened an ANI report about the user in question, to see if I can attract an admin. If they see it before the admin does, they might come in pretty strong and accuse you of edit-warring. Considering the blatantly promotional nature of their edits, as well as the copyvios, I wouldn't expect that to go anywhere. I've really just made this post to give you a heads up, as well as to says thanks for all the reverting you've had to do on that article. Trying to bring in an admin is a good thing. Thank you. Right now I am blocked from making changes to that article. "As an anti-abuse measure, you are limited from performing this action too many times in a short space of time, and you have exceeded this limit." That is perfectly fair, and I am fine with that. I am hoping the same holds for Xplore22. Virailfan (talk) 01:26, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did like your "oh no you don't". Virailfan (talk) 01:29, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Virailfan! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:37, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have made comments within the Talk section regarding the most important items that I feel should be discussed, and to date have had no response or further comment. I am open to discussion in an attempt to reach consensus. And I am open to being involved in dispute resolution options, if needed. Virailfan (talk) 01:56, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
