Turns out your article is a duplicate of an existing article. Maybe improve Gordon Conway instead? MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 13:01, 4 October 2019 (UTC) Visiblefilmhistory (talk) 13:50, 4 October 2019 (UTC)hi there - there are actually 2 people with the same name, but different genders and professions. The first is Sir Gordon Richard Conway, a man and ecologist, who already has an entry on wikipedia. The person I am interested in, and who is listed in Women in Red, is a woman, also called 'Gordon Conway' who worked as an illustrator for Vogue and a costume designer in the british film industry in the 1920s and 1930s. So can a separate entry be created for her?Visiblefilmhistory (talk) 13:50, 4 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, really nice to meet you today, please feel free to give me a shout if you have any issues. I was looking Gordon up and found some of her fabulous drawings from the Tatler etc - I love Art Deco style and her drawings just epitomise the era. Anyway that aside there is a decent photo of her which could be uploaded. It's in Britannia & Eve for, I think, 31 August 1927; I don't have access but it is online and can be accessed via the university's Athens account. Nthep (talk) 20:39, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Visiblefilmhistory. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "sandbox".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:24, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Leeds Wikipedia meetup on Saturday 4th May[edit]

Hello there! Interested in having a chat with fellow Wikipedians? There's a meetup in Leeds on Saturday 4th May 2024, at the Tiled Hall Café at Leeds Central Library. It organised by @Jonathan Deamer.

Full details here.

You're receiving this one-off message as you've attended a Wikipedia event in Leeds in the last five years, this was either one I ran or attended.

If you're interested and you'd like to be notified next time, please say so over on the meetup page.

Hope to see you there.
