Thanks!

Thanks for reverting the rather odd vandalism on my user page. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:18, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism to my userpage

Thanks for reverting that. I have no idea what I've done to them (unless Mintspear is a sock of Bh6thman but I'm neither bothered nor sure enough to go to WP:SPI with it). Tonywalton Talk 23:15, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

They may not have a userpage, but they do have a talkpage and some rather WP:SPA-looking edits, though. Meh, whatever. If there's much more silliness from them I'll block them myself for harassment. Regards Tonywalton Talk 23:30, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

NPWatcher

Hi, WadeSimMiser. I have granted you NPWatcher per your request here. After looking over a few of your contributions, your talk page, and your block log, I feel you can be trusted with the tool. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a note on my talk page. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:17, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Patrolling pages

I find it better to leave the pages unmarked if I'm not sure of their content. A marked page may appear to other NPPers as being suitable for inclusion – WP:NPPLOG recommends leaving pages unpatrolled if "you are not sure about and want a second (or third) opinion". Speedy deletion

When you mark pages for speedy deletion, please leave an appropriate message on the author's User talk: page. I am generally reluctant to approve a deletion request where the author has not been notified. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 02:16, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

You mean it doesn't do that automatically? WadeSimMiser (talk) 02:31, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
There is, or was, a bot that sometimes posted those notices on User talk: pages automatically, but you can't rely on it because it doesn't seem to run all the time. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 11:50, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks...

Cease

Cease removing my edits from talk pages, especially as I was merely responding to a query on my talk page. Your message will now be removed. Thanks :) 123.211.2.233 (talk) 03:45, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

It was an accident. WadeSimMiser (talk) 03:46, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
My apologies, good Sir. 123.211.2.233 (talk) 04:21, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Your message to me

I'm almost positve that the block notice on your page was vandalism. I messaged the admin that the notice referenced to be certain I am correct. They have not responded yet, but that is not alarming (it's actually a good sign...if the block was legit I'd be in very hot water by now). Plus, if you were blocked you would not have been able to post on my page. For the time being I would say not to worry. If I get any update, I'll message you. See ya 'round. NEWCAL Industries

Hello, I am confused. I have not logged in for long time. I remember the issue. I accidently blanked the page, but I reverted it back and even opened and closed the browser to make sure the information was there. It was an accident. regarding: Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to NEWCAL Industries. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: NEWCAL Industries was changed by Ccovert (u) (t) blanking the page on 2008-09-28T17:54:59+00:00 . Thank you. For a moment there, I thought you were vandalizing. I absolutely apologize. WadeSimMiser (talk) 23:49, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

The Vandalism on your User Page

  • Please.. Do not feed the trolls (next time). Like this edit Seen Here. I had to revert lots of vandalism on your user page.. Seen Here.
  • If someone is doing something they know is wrong, insulting them over it is likely to make them vandalize more, just to get that reaction.--Michael (Talk) 04:20, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Question?

Why did you delete the page on Clarinetania, Greenland?James A Anderson (talk) 21:38, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

The page appears to be nonsense. A Google search turned up nothing. WadeSimMiser (talk) 21:40, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I know nothing comes up on google search. It was where Alfred Wegener died.James A Anderson (talk) 21:43, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I did a Google search on his name and it does say something about him being in Greenland. How did you find out about this Greenland location? WadeSimMiser (talk) 21:47, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

It said on his wikipedia page that he died on November 2, 1930 (age 50) at Clarinetania, Greenland.James A Anderson (talk) 21:50, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Where in Greenland is Clarinetania? I don't see it on any map of Greenland I have, nor can I find it with Google Earth. WadeSimMiser (talk) 21:53, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I do not know where it is.James A Anderson (talk) 21:56, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I do see the article for Clarinetania. But I've never heard of a place called "Clarinetania." If you don't have any idea where it is, then how am I supposed to believe you? As far as I'm concerned, Clarinetania doesn't exist. WadeSimMiser (talk) 22:06, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

::Wouldn't you know it? The article is gone. WadeSimMiser (talk) 22:13, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I just read Talk:Clarinetania, Greenland and for now I will call your bluff. One question I'd like to ask: Is Clarinetania known under another name? WadeSimMiser (talk) 23:38, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
