December 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TK421bsod. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Christian attitudes towards Freemasonry seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TK421bsod (talk) 23:42, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Two problems with your addition:
1) Your comments were somewhat inaccurate. For example, Masonic lodge rooms most definitely do contain altars. Also, Lodge officers are “invested” with fancy jewels and regalia (ie vestments), and lodges do perform ceremonies for deceased members that they refer to as “last Masonic rites”. Granted, these are NOT religious altars, religious vestments, or religious rites (something that the old Catholic Encyclopedia glosses over)... but the altars, vestments, and rites do exist.
2) Even if your comments had been accurate, please note that you need to support anything you add to a WP article with a citation. It isn’t enough that you know something to be true... you have to cite a source that SAYS it. Blueboar (talk) 00:58, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
