Re: Windows Live Web Messenger[edit]

If you want to bring back the Windows Live Web Messenger article, please provide some new, relevant information about its ongoing progress. Everything I previously read had suggested that this idea was taking place long ago. I've heard nothing about a separate Web Messenger project for at least a year. --Samvscat (talk) 07:20, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: HP ProBook[edit]

Hi! As far as I know, the s-series has been called essential even before HP added the ProBook moniker to them. See here, for instance: [1] Indrek (talk) 08:09, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Though, looking into this a bit more, at least one other HP news release (besides the one you mentioned) identifies the s-series as standard (see halfway through the text, before they start listing individual models). So it could be that HP themselves haven't been very consistent about it themselves. Given that they've added a new series (m) to the mix, they may well have changed the other series' meanings around as well. Indrek (talk) 08:28, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

HP EliteBook[edit]

I removed some of the content you added to the introductory paragraph of the HP EliteBook article. Namely:

  • mention of "8000 series" - the article is about EliteBooks in general, not just the 8000 series.
  • what the EliteBooks replaced - already discussed under the Previous models section.
  • links to 8530w reviews - moved them down to the Reception section.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
