An explanation of why your block is unfair:
I am not a sockpuppet but a real person. I'm sorry my nickname is odd, but the normal one I use is taken (wasfou). It seems I might have registered at one point, not registered my email address (wasfou@hotmail.com), so I can't get you to send me my password. Wasfou514 refers to my hometown of montreal, canada (the area code there is 514), so I thought it would be a good way to remember my own username, not a way to get labelled as a sockpuppeteer!

I never did any edits under wasfou (if I that's indeed me - always thought the nick was unique enough that no one else would think of it; I don't remember registering so someone might have phished my hotmail email address). In any case my email is now registered (I've had the address for over 10 years) and I am indeed a person participating in contemporary culture debates (especially music, but social pages are interesting to me as well). I am acting in good faith, that's for sure.

For these reasons, please unlock my account. If you choose to reset my password and send it to me via email in order for me to verify the data, that's ok with me too.

Just to add my voice, as the admin that initially blocked you - please accept my deepest apologies. I was confused in my reading of the technical results and was too hasty in issuing the block. You had nothing to do with the sockpuppetry problems, and have done nothing improper at all. Again, please accept my apologies for incorrectly blocking you, and I hope this doesn't sour your Wikipedia experience.
