Mickey Thomas[edit]
"Former players" sections in club articles typically only include players who had a major impact on a club's history - otherwise the list quickly reaches an unwieldy size as people add their favourite player. Hence Mickey Thomas was removed from the sections at Chelsea F.C. and Manchester United F.C. However, for Wrexham, he probably would be viewed as one of the clubs most notable players. If you have an interest in football you may wish to visit WikiProject Football. One last thing - remember to use edit summaries when editing. autoblocks[edit]
Users who use AOL and users at some universities are particularly vulnerable to "autoblocks" caused by the actions of other users who happen to share the same IP address. Unfortunately, there's currently no good solution for this and no way to prevent this from happening (I have no way of turning off autoblocking, no way of knowing in advance that any particular user is using AOL or a university IP prior to blocking them, and no way to give immunity from autoblocking to known reputable and established users). AOL is particularly troublesome because of the way they constantly switch users through a series of IP addresses. The good news is that autoblocks are only temporary, the bad news is that there's no way of preventing the situation from recurring. You may want to ask Wikipedia developer User:Robchurch if a Wikipedia software modification might be possible to mitigate this sort of thing in the future. -- Curps 06:37, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Cemaes bay.jpeg[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Cemaes bay.jpeg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Proposed deletion[edit]
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article The King's Head, Amlwch, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:Bodedern logo.jpg[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Bodedern logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. - Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
