This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Paid advocacy, public relations, and marketing and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

I just want to note that this block goes against discussions several users have already had whether or not the Whitman Archive is spam, if it qualifies as a good source, etc. This block was inappropriate, as were the massive reverts of legitimate work of an editor who had already gotten consensus for what was done. --Midnightdreary (talk) 17:13, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Repeatedly adding links in mass, from accounts and IP's originating from the Whitman Archive is Confilct of interest and is WP:LINKSPAMMING. This account (User:Whitman Archive) violates our Username policy. The behavior of these accounts violate multiple, consensus established Wikipedia policies by the larger community. Spamming is never appropriate, particularly when it there is a conflict of interest as it violates Neutrality (a fundamental principle by which Wikipedia operates). --Hu12 (talk) 21:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
