Hello there Kierant,

What can I do to convince you that the link to my site is a useful addition to the Devil's Dyke page !
                                                                                                            Richard Shaw.
Hi there Richard,
I'm sorry if this is your first experience of Wikipedia and it's proving frustrating. It's not really me you need to convince, though. It's more a matter of meeting the guidelines. What I'd very strongly suggest is that you consider the actual problems, which are mentioned on the talk page of one of the articles in question. You might consider re-writing the site so that it gives info without so very heavily trying to sell the DVDs on every page, and you might also want to add a note to confirm (if true, naturally) that the images you use are out of copyright or licensed to you. As a starting point, do please read the WP:EL guidelines. Cheers, – Kieran T (talk) 11:51, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kierant, Thanks for the response, and the advice. Yes, you’re right, I am new to Wikipedia and its all a little bit confusing at first. I’m learning though! I’ll take your advice and read the "/wiki/Wikipedia:EL" guidelines. I’ll post a letter explaining my website on the Devil’s Dyke talkpage too.

In response to your recent request on my talk page — at present, the site isn't even loading. This means that if you re-add it, a whole new bunch of people and semi-automated bots will remove the link pretty soon, so until your web service is stabilised, there is absolutely no point in adding it. – Kieran T (talk) 13:18, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
