Information icon Hello, I'm ElKevbo. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ElKevbo (talk) 03:13, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bastyr University, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 10:39, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in complementary and alternative medicine. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

On a related not, I'm concerned that Draft:Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicine would be a duplicate of Bastyr University. How do you envision these articles co-existing, since they seem to cover the same topic? –dlthewave 04:11, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your email reads as though it might be a threat, although a pretty poor one[edit]

No Threat -- Only Pointing out Conflict of Interest and Defamation Potential Issues that need Legal Review. Are you a member of the AMA or have you taken money from an AMA Member?

You wrote "The US Government of which I have worked for for many many years in the capacity as a bio-medical engineering contractor would like to see any medical profession credentials/education that would give you legal professional standing in medicine to remove information and links to the National Institute of Health, Mayo Clinic, Licensed Professionals on WebMD, and others that I added to the page on Bastyr University. NIH is peer reviewed medical science from the second largest research institute on medicine in the world. Mayo Clinic is in many surveys the best teaching hospital in the world. WebMD is in many surveys the best website for layman's peer reviewed medical information in the world."

How am I expected to take this seriously? The US Government really wants me to contact them? No editor needs "legal professional standing" to edit any article. You don't appear to be interested in finding out about our policies and guidielines, which shows in your draft which is nowhere near what we expect for an article. Doug Weller talk 08:16, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

^^You and others have Deliberately Filled the Bastyr University article with Links that are of a very Defamatory and Un-professional tone, from organizations such as "Quack Watch" which is run by a "Retired Psychiatrist" -- I would like to point out that "Psychiatry" as a profession has no scientific tests to test for mental illness -- There is no blood test that "Psychiatry" uses in diagnosing someone with any Disease. The Ft. Hood Mass Shooter was even a "Psychiatrist" who prior to the shootings "Diagnosed" hundreds of Soldiers out of VA Benefits, GI Bill Benefits, and Civilian Employment Illegally. "Psychiatric Diagnosis" is not considered medical FACT in civilian legal proceedings until a Judge and Jury make this legal determination.

PERMANENT INJUNCTION ORDER AGAINST AMA (Regarding Defamation of Chiropractic and Naturopathic Practice) Susan Getzendanner JAMA. 1988;259(1):81-82. doi:10.1001/jama.1988.03720010059044 https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/370078

For the Bastyr article, I would recommend a review board that included retired PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS (DO, MD), CHIROPRACTORS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PA's, NATUROPATHS and others Related to Primary Care

As I said, you haven't yet begun to understand how we work. It's pointless making such requests, that's not how we work. Doug Weller talk 19:18, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If there is a court injunction that is somehow binding on Wikipedia itself, that should be communicated to the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, using the appropriate address listed here. The same goes for any content alleged to be libelous(see WP:LIBEL). Wikipedia does not have 'review boards' of professionals for articles; nor is Wikipedia for giving medical advice. 331dot (talk) 19:56, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have notified your legal department, and bastyr's legal department of the issues. I am disputing that this page has a neutral point of view. as I have personally helped train more than 6 residents in MD, and DO programs, and issues like you cite here are common to every AMA residency program I have participated in. Yes I have nearly died or died and been brought back to life so many times doing this type of work I cannot recall. The thing I would tell you is very few of these people including those you mention at Bastyr have done anything that meet's any definition of "Quack"

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by John from Idegon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia.

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action.
You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:19, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You must unambiguously and irrevocably withdraw the legal threats you made at the Teahouse in order to continue editing Wikipedia. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:21, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I did not make a threat, I am not a plaintiff in any action against Wikipedia, I submitted the information about an Existing Legal Injunction Against the AMA for Wikipedia's Own Legal Department To Review to Determine if AMA members who were referenced in a page are involved the content in violation of the Injunction against the AMA. If this review determines that there is no violation I will remove the content I also notified the affected parties (AMA, Bastyr University Wmwmurray (talk) 03:44, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Our policy of no legal threats is broad. It has several purposes, but the basic intent is to prevent editors from creating a chilling effect upon other editors by direct or indirect threats or warnings of legal action. "I will sue you so you better change this article" and "somebody will sue you because of this article" are no different in this regard. If you have legal concerns about something on Wikipedia, address these concerns to the Wikimedia Foundation; the volunteers here are in no position to act upon your concerns. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 04:58, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

In my opinion, you made a legal threat intended to intimidate and chill other Wikipedia editors. Perhaps another administrator will disagree with me. As the blocking administrator, I will leave it to another administrator to review the block.
You are entirely free to pursue your legal threats and/or legal action off-Wikipedia. But you cannot edit Wikipedia, in my judgment, while your threats here stand. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 04:54, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Based on this diff (I have notified your legal department... and comments about an Existing Legal Injunction), I have revoked talk page access per WP:NLT. Hopefully you're able to resolve whatever is going on with WMF legal. Regards, ST47 (talk) 04:59, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
