Preparing articles[edit]
Hi Wodz, I noticed your comment at Talk:Roger Federer - Tennis Records after declining the speedy deletion nomination of your article. Unfortunately, it's sometimes the way of submitting articles on Wikipedia; if an article is started with a few tables and no prose "context", an editor may tag it for deletion. I'm always in favor of letting the author have some time to write their article, though, as some others are. Something that might be helpful next time would be to begin the article in your "user space". For instance, you could start a page draft at User:Wodz/Sandbox (a sub-page of your user page), and then "move" the page to the mainspace once you're ready to publish it.

Thanks for uploading File:04_wimbledon.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Obelisks. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. please don't do this again, that's what talk pages are for. List of Grand Slam men's singles champions[edit]
Max Decugis rightly belongs on articles that are about the French championships. However this article is about Major championships and prior to 1925 the French championship was a closed tournament only open to French players. It was not a Grand Slam event per sources. So we make sure Max Decugis is not listed at articles like "List of Grand Slam men's singles champions" but we also make sure he IS listed at articles like "List of French Open men's singles champions."
