Peter Engbrecht moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Peter Engbrecht, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) The dates in the article don’t make any sense. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. question

Krazytea, I don't see the point of removing this part of the subject's life. Birthplace recognition is essential, and it is important to be included in the subject's life. Thanks

question 2

You claimed South China Morning Post is propaganda

Yeeno cited this paper,

"Canada's MacNeil sparks soul-searching over China's one-child policy". South China Morning Post. 27 July 2021. Retrieved 27 July 2021.

and wrote the following words,

When asked about her heritage, Mac Neil acknowledged her Chinese roots, but described it as "a very small part of my journey to where I am today", and "kind of irrelevant when it comes to swimming."[15]

It seems there is bias

Agreed. Krazytea(talk) 21:52, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

@Krazytea: do you mean there is bias

Justin Trudeau

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by "in the weeds" in your edit description on the Justin Trudeau page. I have also noticed that you announced that you support the Liberal Party of Canada on your User Page. The CanSino deal, PPE, PMO Chief of Staff, and C-17 Aircraft are all relevant content. Please share your views on the Justin Trudeau talk page.Peerreviewededitor (talk) 04:51, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

Multiple open PRs

Hi, I see that you have multiple peer reviews open, including Wikipedia:Peer review/Andre De Grasse/archive1 Wikipedia:Peer review/Penny Oleksiak/archive1. Per WP:PRG, editors may only have one open PR at a time. Please close additional PRs, and consider reviewing other PRs in order to get a faster response. Thanks. Z1720 (talk) 21:10, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

@Z1720: thanks for the heads up. I was unawares, I have removed the Penny Oleksiak request until my first peer review is complete. Words in the Wind(talk) 21:55, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 31

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kyrie Wilson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tip drill. It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Notice

The article Matt Margetts has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable athlete, fails WP:NOLYMPICS

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Manitoba general election 2023 candidates

Hello Words in the wind! I am a frequent editor of the page listed below. I am puzzled as to why my edits were removed, there is a section that states that if you list any contestants seeking a party’s nomination of a constituency be italicized. I followed that principle but it was removed. There are other candidates listed that are italicized because they haven’t been formally been nominated but have expressed interest in re-election or contesting.

Thank you. Gojetsgo55 (talk) 05:37, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

@Gojetsgoo55 I am going to be honest, I do not really care that much about it. I see that someone has added that index. I do not really agree with it but go ahead and revert my edit, make sure to add references though. Words in the Wind(talk) 16:34, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
Notice

The article Marc-Antoine Gagnon has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. jlwoodwa (talk) 21:12, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

Please stop

Please stop creating bad quality articles. Its disruptive! Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 21:58, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

@Sportsfan 1234 please indicate more clearly any issues. Just a reminder you have been banned twice in the past for bad behaviour on Wikipedia. Thanks for you help in creating a great Wikipedia, but a reminder to do it politely and through correct protocol. Cheers, Words in the Wind(talk) 22:15, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
I would say that Sportsfan 1234's calling of your work as "horribly written" / "disruptive" is a bit of an exaggeration, but do note, Words in the Wind, that sports biographies should pass WP:SPORTCRIT to be in mainspace, i.e., they should have at least one piece of significant coverage listed. BeanieFan11 (talk) 22:23, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
@BeanieFan11 yes I always strive to meet notability as I have over the past 15 years of editing on Wikipedia. If something is in question I am happy to address it. 😊 Words in the Wind(talk) 22:28, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
