Hi, I just reverted your edit thinking it was a vandal (population and temperature change, but the access date to the source wasn't updated). Then I saw you are an experienced editor, so it may be my error. If this is a good edit please let me know and I'll self revert. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:45, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Ways to improve James Sheppard (politician)

Hi, I'm Teblick. WuTang94, thanks for creating James Sheppard (politician)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The "About James Sheppard" link returned an error message when I tried it on March 20, 2017. However, it appears to be a publication of the subject's campaign, which would make it not a reliable source by Wikipedia standards. More sources are needed to establish notabiltiy.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello, WuTang94,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether James Sheppard (politician) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Sheppard (politician) .

Thanks,

Disambiguation link notification for December 7

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Doug Whaley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sammy Watkins (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I-590/NY 590 merge proposal

Howdy. I represent the U.S. Roads WIkiProject and specialize in the NY stuff since my partner on it left several years ago. I just wanted to let you know both Interstate 590 and New York 590 both meet established notability guidelines under USRD and their histories are better separate because Sea Breeze Drive & co. does not fit with I-590. NFL rivalry tables discussion

Hi WuTang,

For the MIA–NE page, you didn’t finish the whole thing; the 2010s was left completely unchanged. I didn’t think that was a good look, so I reverted your edits to make the format of the entire game results section consistent. As for the BUF–NYJ page, a “series” column could not be added under that format without screwing up the whole table. I have added a “series” column to most of the NFL rivalry pages because it allows readers to better understand who has been the better team for how long.

EDIT: I see the Fins-Pats page was finished. I will not change the series table format on that one.

Regards, Jewel15 (talk) 01:25, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

@Jewel15: thanks for the response. Personally, I'm a fan of also adding team colors into the table, which in my opinion also helps readers with identifying the more dominant team in a visually appealing way. On the flip side, I also see that you've begun to section off the BUF–NYJ table by decade, which I will say is a good idea since it will make it more navigable. I'll let you finish that before adding the color back in.

Regards, --WuTang94 (talk) 15:45, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

Yes, I’ll finish that within the next seven days, could be sooner. Btw, have you considered using the same table format as the AFC West and NFC North rivalries use, such as KC–OAK, DEN–LAC, CHI–GB, and DET–MIN? It allows the tables to be separated by decade, the series count to be continuous rather than by decade, and it can be color-coded to make it easier to identify winning teams. I haven’t figured out how to do colors on series tables, so if you could help me out with that or do it for me, that would be cool. Jewel15 (talk) 04:34, 10 October 2018 (UTC)

@Jewel15: I have considered using the table format in the pages you listed, but notice that many attributes of that table format are not automatic. In the old tables, you still would have to manually enter the team's colors as well as the overall series record for each game. For example, the old tables still make you find the color code from scratch (example: Detroit Lions color in DET–MIN is slightly off, using c=#4F2683, while Honolulu Blue is #0076B6). On the other side, the older table format allows games to be color-coded by certain scenarios such as playoff or overtime games, which doesn't look possible through the new format.

The new tables automatically find team colors (example: get New York Jets colors by typing in something along the lines of "NFLPrimaryStyle = New York Jets" or even team colors from a different era, such as "NFLPrimaryStyle = New York Jets78thru97") and calculate the series record. Though it would only calculate the games in each section if we section off the series by decade, I think this would still help with calculating the full series. Also, the new format's syntax is much more compact. Then again, it depends on the editors' preference, as the older format is more spaced out.

Once you're done with BUF–NYJ, I'll try to find a solution that combines the best attributes of either table format. Cheers --WuTang94 (talk) 17:42, 10 October 2018 (UTC)

I just finished the 2000s section on the BUF–NYJ page. Will work on the 2010s later. Jewel15 (talk) 04:19, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

The whole thing is done now. Jewel15 (talk) 08:07, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

@Jewel15: Gotcha. I'll take a look at it when I get a chance. --WuTang94 (talk) 14:53, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
