July 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Xenophon, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jprg1966 (talk) 22:34, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Xenophon. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jprg1966 (talk) 22:38, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Xenophon shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Xenophon, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 00:57, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:Dr.K., you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 14:14, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Xenophon[edit]

Please take your proposed edit to this link: Talk:Xenophon and start a discussion there, (click here to start the discussion), about including it so that other editors, not only you and I, can see it and comment on it. There is no reason to attempt to argue on my talkpage when the talkpage of the article is the only proper forum for a multilateral discussion between many editors as befits a collaborative wiki project such as this. Your edits will be analysed there and if consensus is reached about their suitability you can add them to the article. So please no more attempts at discussion on my talkpage. Also in any future edits please avoid changing the in-article word "Expedition" to "Expedidition" or "Expediton" as you did here and here because this is considered vandalism. Also please do not add instructions in the article asking other editors to fix your spelling mistakes as you did here. In conclusion your proposed edit should properly be discussed by other editors on the talk page of the article before any attempt is made for it to be added to the article. Needless to say please avoid any personal comments directed at any other editors. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 18:30, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
