Disambiguation link notification for April 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1977–78 Yugoslav Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mitrovica. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

May 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Star Mississippi. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sports in Albania, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. StarM 15:04, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:JohnFromPinckney. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. As I already pointed out when you accused Star Mississippi of "hating Albania", you are expected to assume good faith and must make no personal attacks. Your accusation towards me of racism is completely unacceptable. I'm working on the articles and their sourcing, nothing more. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 14:06, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Formal alert, which likely should have happened sooner[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Balkans or Eastern Europe. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Xoni98, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

No need to argue[edit]

Hello, Xonilatifi25. I have been watching your edits on Sports in Albania and would like to point out, first of all, that I think you are making an awful lot of effort to add details that do not belong in that article. Soon, somebody, possibly I myself, will come by and rip out all the scores and detailed game-by-game action you have added. Even if well-sourced, those kind of details don't belong in an article like that. Compare for example, any of the "Sport in Country X" articles linked in the "Sport in Europe" navbox at the bottom, like Sport in Switzerland, Sport in France, Sport in Serbia or Sport in Italy. None of these articles have individual scores, but talk rather about popularity of various sports and the country's success (like championships or Olympic medals) in them. I hope you will stop adding game results and focus on the national overview.

Secondly, I would encourage you to read WP:BATTLEGROUND and then stop such behavior, as evidenced in this edit summary: Once again it is quiet impossible to believe that i need to edit so much because people think to ignore Albania who did a lot in European sports aswell , but i will never give up i know this platform is really important to show people Albania sport success aswell, or in this earlier one: I put a refrences point out to save an important edit for a big topic Albania in Sports Albania have a long history in sports so theirfor it needed to be mentioned far more and i will continue on every opportunity given!! I hope you do not think Wikipedia is meant to promote Albanian sports (or anything else). The purpose is to provide balanced, verifiable information about particular topics, not serve as a nationalist platform. So, please cut down the rhetoric in your edit summaries and focus on providing a reliably-sourced overview of sports in Albania.

Edit summaries, by the way, are meant for notes about content changes, like "Added citation for women's basketball medals" or "removed duplicated paragraph". They don't need to be long, nor should they convey your inner dreams and hopes. Keep them short and to the point, please. Thanks,— JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 14:29, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1. I will not put any results out their. But what did i then wrong apart from that ? 2. I just mentioned the recent success Albania had in Sport. By the way you put Sports in Serbia yet they post achievements in it who were before their independence in 2006 so you cant compare those posts. 3. You keep provocating me just because i put some edits it dosent mean that i did anything bad i put references point so save the articles aswell. 4. Which inner dreams dude stop being so impolite towards me... They are result put out for the Albanian Basketball National team to, so where is the problem. Xonilatifi25 (talk) 00:38, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

5. Which inner dreams the Albanian womens various international competitions and if you cant handle the truth then it is not my problem then! Xonilatifi25 (talk) 00:40, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I wanna include that the Sport in Serbia use many of their successes they once did when they were in Yugoslavia so stop implementing something who dont put right facts out their. Serbia put success they never achieved as an country before 2008 because before 2006 they werent indenpendent as now so stop saying things who arent true, they used results aswell in their post to. And yes no need to argue with you anymore ... Xonilatifi25 (talk) 02:58, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I dont need to argue all the time with you. You are not the creator of this page. 2. You cant decide how people can argue and tell other readers in a important how to wright things. Albania have a rich history in Sports so theirfor needs to get mentioned and also stated. Serbians use Wikipedia way more for propaganda even in Cities from Kosovo who they wright it on serbian is that fair no? but on their you don't criticize that. But when i even put references you still criticize it and then wanna argue with a comparison from "Sport in Serbia" were they put ever achievement in it and act like they are the best in the earth snd put result over result in , your way of thinking is too delusional. I wish you all the best but think once again how you talk towards someone who just know the Albanian sport. And calling me a nationalist is rude because i am not you can say that to the serbs who are making propaganda every das in Wikipedia calling Albanian terrorist in every citiy from Kosovo , is that fair no? I had enough talking with as far as i put an refrence point in you should accept the truth and thats it for me here... Xonilatifi25 (talk) 11:05, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
