Question from NintendoTTTEfan2005 on Help:Contents (20:30, 11 April 2024)[edit]

"Am I the only one that thinks that Interstate 335 shouldn't redirect to the section on this page anymore? Since AASHTO has now approved Oklahoma's request to designate the Kickapoo Turnpike in their state as I-335 and signs for such will be put up on the road this year. Like I think that the Interstate 335 (disambiguation) page that I created earlier this year should be renamed Interstate 335, the existing page that redirects to the section on this article be deleted, and create a new page titled "Interstate 335 (disambiguation)" that redirects to the existing page of the same name. But I can't do this myself cause I am not an administrator, but if anyone reading this is an administrator, than I would really appreciate a response. " This what I said on the talk page for the Kansas Turnpike and I am wondering if there is anyone who is able to or willing to do this. Do you know how changing a page's name works? --NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 20:30, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NintendoTTTEfan2005, You are free to edit the page Interstate 335 to change it to redirect to the disambiguation page, that is probably the easiest solution. If you want to move the disambiguation page to Interstate 335, you can request that on Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. Zoozaz1 (talk) 22:07, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I guess I will do that NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 22:12, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Helloworldofluxury (15:51, 18 April 2024)[edit]

Hi Zoozaz, how are you? I was looking forward to creating a page for a brand that I am a huge fan but looks like it's not possible. Can you help me with some tips? --Helloworldofluxury (talk) 15:51, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Helloworldofluxury, It may be possible, but it will likely be difficult. Go through the process at WP:AFC. The three most important pages you will have to read is WP:N, to understand if the company is notable enough to qualify for a page, WP:NPOV, to understand how you are supposed to write the article (I also recommend reading articles on similar companies to use as a model), and, if you have a conflict of interest, reading WP:COI. Question from Perseverance madela on Wikipedia:Shortcut (14:56, 18 May 2024)[edit]

Hey,how can I write an article about world of work --Perseverance madela (talk) 14:56, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Perseverance madela, that's a bit too broad to be an article, but if you come up with a more specific topic, you can submit a draft for consideration to WP:AFC. Zoozaz1 (talk) Zoozaz1 (talk) 16:55, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Tuky06 (22:51, 19 May 2024)[edit]

Hi, how are you doing? I'm new to Wikipedia and I mainly made the account to translate some articles from English to Spanish. I had a question regarding translating words that don't exist in Spanish but do in English, should I keep the word in English and clarify its meaning in the article or should I do something else? Thanks for the help --Tuky06 (talk) 22:51, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tuky06, there's no need for an exact literal translation, as long as the meaning gets across it's fine (unless this is a quotation). It probably depends on the specific word, and given you are the one translating it, you would probably be a better judge than me of the best solution. I might be able to help a bit more if you give me the specific word though. Zoozaz1 (talk) 23:24, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The word is "everyman", a character who is ordinary and humble in order for the audience to identify with them. I could use a combination of words like "common man" but I'm afraid it would not be accurate enough Tuky06 (talk) 00:56, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tuky06, I see. Common man is fine, there's no need to be 100% literal in the translation as long as you get the meaning across. Zoozaz1 (talk) 10:38, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
