I am nominating this featured article for review due to the following reasons -

  • There are numerous single line paragraphs, which can easily be integrated into other paragraphs, this may indicate a poor quality prose.
  • More specifically, the history section just looks like a list of events that occurred, it barely flows if at all. At the moment, the problem seems to be most prominent in the 1998-2003 and 2010 sections, however the other sections may need to be improved to meet FA standards.
  • Numerous claims lack references, including
  • "Golden Rule debuted at number 1 on the ARIA albums chart."
  • "Their song "Drifting Further Away" features on the fifth season Grey's Anatomy episode 'Stairway to Heaven', which aired on 21 January 2009."
to name just a few.
  • Lead violates WP:LEAD. The article currently has around 56,000 characters including references and templates, hence there's no reason why the lead can't comply with the mentioned guideline.
  • There are numerous dead links.

  • Comment I am currently working on the related article, Powderfinger discography, which is a FLRC. After that issue is resolved I will be available to make the suggested improvements (and others) to this article. I request that no adverse decision be made here until sufficient time has elapsed for my efforts to be reasonably completed.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 22:40, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

'Delegate comment - Hi YuMaNuMa, it looks like no prior talk notification was done, as is required by the instructions. I'm going to put this on hold for a week or two and post on article talk. Nikkimaria (talk) 13:50, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
