Assessment and tagging[edit]

Women's health related articles were assessed and tagged as a part of this project. During the start of the project in December 2022, there were 2,732 articles under the scope of Wikipedia: WikiProject Women's Health. As of 6 March 2023, there are 3,111 articles under Wikipedia: WikiProject Women's Health, an increase by 311 articles.

Women's Health Online edit-a-thon[edit]

A month-long, online edit-a-thon on women's health was conducted on Malayalam Wikipedia in January 2023. As a part of the edit-a-thon, 2,409 new articles were created by the participants. A majority of the articles were related to biographies of notable people and maternity hospitals, but several articles related to diseases affecting women were also created. The winners were declared by a four-member jury, and Amazon gift cards were distributed to the winners and participants.

Women's health offline edit-a-thon[edit]

An offline edit-a-thon on the theme 'Women's health' was conducted by Feminism In India, in association with WomenLift Health and 91Springboard on 4th March 2023 in New Delhi, India. Newcomers and health experts learnt to create/expand their first Wikipedia article.

A second offline edit-a-thon on the theme 'Women's health' was conducted by Malayalam Wikimedians at Trivandrum, India in association with Government VHSSS for the hearing impaired on 6 April, 2023.
