Elfin-woods Warbler[edit]

This article is about a small, endemic bird of Puerto Rico. It was discovered in 1968. I would like fresh minds to analyze the article for improvement areas. I doubt this can achieve FA status but I would like the article to be as good and complete as possible. Joelito 21:27, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per WP:CONTEXT, years with full dates should be linked. It would be best to provide a consistency to the article with the comma issue- following some years commas are used (In 1989,) while other times it isn't (In 1972 it). Thanks, AndyZ 02:23, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have fixed the comma-issue. Joelito 00:36, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Overall, the article looks very good. The name etymology is best put in the lead, though. The Call and Juvenile links should be disambiguated. I loathe the citation style used, but that is no reason to oppose on a FAC. Circeus 00:27, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have disambiguated call, however there does not exist an article for animal juveniles. Maybe I should remove the interlink. Regarding the reference style it is an experiment of mine since I had never used that ref style before. Joelito 00:36, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
juvenile (animal) has been created, and your juvenile link dab. Expansion of juvenile (animal) is welcome.Simon12 02:12, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
