I've listed this article for peer review because I would like to see how it could be changed and improved.

Neon, I scanned the article and here's my initial comments:

There are too many paragraphs of uncited text. For instance, the sections: History, Governance, Demography, and Regeneration plans, need more reliable sources to support their statements.
Too much attention is given to Tesco regeneration and Recent regeneration plans. Remember that Wikipedia is not your local newspaper and you should avoid reporting information that sounds like news.
Economy section - write more about the present day situation, and not the future
Education section - is it necessary to use tables here and list number of pupils? Number of pupils will get outdated quickly.
Insert more photos! Show the local buildings, and points of interest. There's many pictures available according to Wikimedia Commons.
I strongly recommend looking at Keswick, Cumbria, Ashton-under-Lyne and Stretford. These are not perfect articles but they will give you a strong sense of writing style.
Are there any local landmarks to write about?
The Notable Citizens section is at risk of looking too bloated and trivial. Try to write this in prose and don't expand it anymore!
