Radiotrophic fungus[edit]

I can’t think of much to add to this article. I found out about these particular fungi recently and thought it would be interesting to create a Wikipedia article on it. I don’t know if this article is anything like adequate yet and I actually created the term “radiotrophic” myself, for want of a better name. Can anybody tell what needs to added or subtracted to bring this article up to an acceptable standard? --Simpsons contributor 15:40, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's an interesting article but it seems a little brief. The introduction of the Dadachova et al (2007) paper mentions a number of other related ideas for "melanotic fungi" that would be intriguing to explore (if there are sufficient sources). For example, the relation of this fungi to mass extinctions and growth of melanotic fungi in Antarctica. — RJH (talk) 22:17, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
