Texas Transportation Company[edit]
I've had a few people suggest that I put this image up for review. I figured what the heck, maybe it'll cut the mustard. This is my first nomination, so sorry if I jack up the process at some point. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite pictures I've taken so far. I love the contrasts with the green grass, the pale buildings, the yellow engine and the blue sky.
Article appears on two pages: Pearl Brewing Company & Texas Transportation Company. The Pearl Brewery is the image's main "home" since that was the original article. The Texas Transportation Company page was spun off from Pearl to keep Pearl from getting too ridiculously large. I created the image for Wikipedia and while doing research at the Pearl Brewery.

- It's overall a very strong image. The only concerns I have about it are that the composition is a somewhat "busy" with the buildings in the background, and that it's slightly blurry (a minor concern). The blurriness could probably be fixed by either downsizing the image (it's quite big, which makes this a good candidate for downsizing), or doing some "photoshopping" (which I can provide) to artificially sharpen it (if I had to chose, I would downsize). If this weren't for wiki I could paint over some of the more destracting parts of the background, but alas, such edits are frowned upon by Wikipedians :( --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 13:48, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
