March 15[edit]

Casino Royale[edit]

Im trying to find the wallpaper(desktop background) seen on the MI6 computers in the movie Casino Royale. It was green and I think it had a variation of Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom on it. The one example in the movie I can think of was when M used the computer in the night stand next to her bed. I've googled everything I can think of to find it, but I have been unsuccessful. Anyone know where I could find it? --ChesterMarcol 01:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know that it's available? It was likely made specifically for the film and they may not have put it on the web site for the movie. And some fanboy may not have thought to make one at home and post it to the net. Dismas|(talk) 02:03, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I’m assuming it isn’t officially available somewhere, I was hoping someone made one--ChesterMarcol 02:30, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot find an image from the movie, and make one copy yourself? 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 11:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't find the image from the movie and I don't have the DVD. --ChesterMarcol 16:04, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Girl's bathroom scene[edit]

What teen movie has a scene where these girl characters and their gay guyfriend are in the girl's bathroom and a random girl walks in and looks at the guy and one of the girls says "it's okay, he's gay" and the random girl just shrugs and continues towards the stalls? --Candy-Panda 12:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mean Girls... I think. Mahalo. --Ali'i 14:54, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Similar to Mean Girls, but in that film the girl says something like "You're not supposed to be in here," and the gayboy says, "Danny Devito, I love your work!" Is that it? - Zepheus <ゼィフィアス> 22:54, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was the first movie I thought of actually... funny scene, but I don't think that's it. :) --Candy-Panda 03:15, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe the tv series My So-Called Life? --Mathew5000 19:53, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Or you can try to find it using an IMDb plot keyword search, e.g. http://imdb.com/keyword/high-school/bathroom/gay-slur/. --Mathew5000 19:56, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're better off asking this at IMDb. Clarityfiend 17:12, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quick Question[edit]

How do I add Hyperlinks into articles? Shadeofdarkness 18:27, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This question would be better asked at the helpdesk. But if you want a hint how, look at my answer and you'll see how I added that one. ;-) --Maelwys 18:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
For internal links (links to other Wikipedia articles) type [[ before the word, and ]] after the word. For example [[apple]] becomes apple. Make sure it links to an actual article before you save! − Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 22:53, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Red links aren't the devil. They are good in that they can point out to other editors what articles should probably be created. Also, if an article is created, they automatically turn blue instead of someone having to go around to all the old articles to link terms to what is now a new article. Dismas|(talk) 16:47, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And for external links, it's one bracket, for example [http://www.google.com Link to Google] makes Link to Google. However, some external links shouldn't be added; see Wikipedia:External links for more on this. Dave6 talk 09:14, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comedian: Sinbad Dead at the Age of 50??[edit]

Is this true? The news is listed on your page.

Thanks!

Sinbad, born David Adkins (November 10, 1956 - March, 14, 2007) was an American stand-up comedian and actor. He became known in the late 1980s and 1990s, appearing on several television series and starring in the feature films Houseguest (1995), First Kid and Jingle All the Way (both 1996). He succumbed to a fatal heart attack on the morning of March, 14, 2007. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.104.221.235 (talk) 19:27, 15 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

No, Sinbad is not dead, it is just a hoax.--ChesterMarcol 19:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing about it on CNN.com or Yahoo. Dismas|(talk) 19:33, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I just checked the history of that page and the death hoax info hasn't been on the page for quite some time. I would suggest you clear your cache so that you get the most up to date copy of the article. Dismas|(talk) 19:38, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe they just meant his career... Clarityfiend 06:27, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Check out this article on Yahoo! News. - Zepheus <ゼィフィアス> 16:40, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. How long was the false info up? Who would give an excuse, Jimbo? 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 10:35, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
