Famed house in San Francisco[edit]

After Bob Saget died, fans have left a loaf of bread, a can of beer and some flowers at the Full House/Fuller House home in San Francisco. What has been done with the first two items?2603:7000:8100:F444:40AF:9ACA:7C8E:728B (talk) 04:26, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

According to our article, the first item is currently buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery, near his parents and sister. I haven't turned up anything definitive about the bread (or beer), but this and this mention it as the actions of a single fan (though they were early reports and the idea may have caught on, but I haven't found any mentions at all more than a few days after his death). Most stuff left in memoriam like that is typically thrown out at some point. Matt Deres (talk) 23:37, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This famous house was only used in brief exterior shots at the beginning of the two TV series, and the interior shots were taken in another house about a mile away, or mostly on studio sets. The house and its neighbors are described at Painted ladies although that term goes back to the 1970s and describes thousands of historic San Francisco homes, many of which are much more impressive. An interesting fact is that HO scale models of these houses were sold to model railroaders before the TV shows because they are quite distinctive as a group. The houses themselves along that street are beautiful if you love San Francisco Victorian architecture, but their really unique feature is that they are across the street from the public park Alamo Square, San Francisco, where the downhill topography allows these houses to be viewed and photographed with the skyscrapers of downtown San Francisco in the background. That is what truly makes them famous because there are many superior architectural examples that lack the San Francisco skyscraper backdrop in the distance. Despite that, the park is well worth visiting and is surrounded by beautiful if less famous Victorian homes and apartment buildings. Cullen328 (talk) 06:34, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa Ashton PB in a Players Championship Event[edit]

During her time as a PDC Tour Card holder what was the furthest Lisa Ashton progressed in a Players Championship Event. Players Championship Events usually have 128 dart players. Note this is different from the Women's Series. (78.19.39.147 (talk) 17:55, 19 December 2022 (UTC))[reply]
