Looks pretty solid overall; very thorough sourcing, which is a common lacking in new editors. The main thing you need is to add categories; see WP:Categories and note you need to add existing, specific categories. Suggest you check out an article on a similar person to see what categories that bio used. That aside, you can neaten up your footnotes by grouping together those footnotes which are exact copies of each other, see WP:REFNAME for quick instructions. On a very minor note, people aren't referred to by title, so not "Ms. Robbins", just "Robbins". Looks great overall. MatthewVanitas (talk) 06:27, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Very important note: your photo is about to get deleted because you don't provide copyright information. You need to go in and select "Fair Use - subject deceased" from the drop-down menu. You're allowed to use one low-res photo of the subject in the subject's article per WP:Fair use, but you must select that specific option in the image file, or it will be deleted. There are few references in the article, but the organization's website is widely referenced on the Internet by many organizations and businesses both inside and outside of Arizona. Simply noting a significant number of links on the Internet doesn't seem to be appropriate for references. Please advise.

Pretty good overall, and you start out strong with a solid reference to a third-party news source. You need to add WP:Categories though, and the article will be a lot stronger if you can add one or two more news articles discussing the importance of the character, and if you can apply the references at WP:Footnotes instead of just listing them at the end. Also, have you considered writing a Spanish version of this article and posting it at es.wikipedia.org? Then we can link the two together and people can read both. One other note, you can legally add one low-resolution image of the character to the page; see WP:Image use policy and WP:Fair use. Feel free to contact me directly if you need help with an image. Referencing looks good, so that's a major plus. That said, you still need a few fixes; you have no categories (see WP:Categories). Cats must be as specific as possible, so not "Texas" or "Music". Take a look at articles for similar bands to see what cats are commonly used. You also have a "link rot" issue, in that your footnotes are just "http://www...." with no proper citation. Fixing that makes a huge difference and gives us details we can use to find the article if its web address ever changes. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:55, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Articles about organisations must have third-party coverage of notability to publish, per Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). If you can't find outside info (news articles, etc) about this organisation, it can't be a stand-alone article, though you might be able to add a brief summary as a section of Wayne State University. Hi, I came across this most incredibly titled book/article while "browsing around" Wikipedia, as one does, and I was at first taken aback by the formatting of the title, but in fact it's fine and perfectly in tune with the guidelines. As I read said article, I noticed that the book's section headings were not coherent and also the authors have liberally employed "quote marks" to designate nicknames, place names etc. So, firstly, would you take a look at the difference, I couldn't really decide from the MOS but "Major Roy of Hens" and "Glen of the Piper" struck me as wrong, italics or just "as is"?

Also, you will see later on that some unknown people are referred to as "J. Ss.", who apparently left comments and appended the book, is this correct?

Finally, I bullet-pointed the synopsis section and removed the ; but I feel that for a 28-page book(let) the summaries are overly long and could probably do with editing down, any feedback? I know that now the sections are unclear as to who is what, but they were just (IMHO) rambling lists before, too, with the wrong punctuation.

After consultation with another editor on the talk page, the semi-colons have been reinstated and I will look into shortening the lists.

I would appreciate your wisdom/experience as sometimes we have to read pages and pages just to know if people should use a dash or a hyphen as in Mexican-American War, oh please God, or Flying Spaghetti Monster, make sure that I got that frickin' punctuation right and pasta all round!

As to notability, if you look at Will Rogers entries you will find his name mentioned several times in Wikipedia.

Note too that you can auto-populate Wiki citations using the tool http://reftag.appspot.com . Awesome tool, saves me a ton of time and gives perfect footnotes.
