Discussion[edit]

I would be more than happy to join the project but would need several other active editors to help make it a success. I believe it is really needed as there are so many articles dealing with so many countries, peoples, cultures, religions, products, etc., which relate to the "Silk Road" (or, preferably, the "Silk Routes"), that we need some way of tying them together and making their common historical relationships clearer, more accessible, more meaningful, and more fun to readers. Yup, I do think the issues you raise may prove difficult at times - but they shouldn't be insurmountable assuming everybody is of good faith and willing to discuss any possible differences and to work together to sort them out. John Hill (talk) 09:00, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
