Wikipedia:WikiProject Ireland/NUIG CEL263 Oct2017

On Friday 20th October the students in the CEL263 Learning Technologies module at NUI Galway will participate in an event on Wikipedia familiarisation for academics. The aim is to encourage the academic staff to consider becoming active editors on Wikipedia. All participants will (at least) upload an image to Wikimedia Commons in the category National University of Ireland, Galway.

This event is organised by Sharonlflynn (talk) in collaboration with Wikimedia Community Ireland.

Please set up an account before the event if at all possible. Very few details are needed: a Username, password, and we recommend giving your email, if only to be reminded of your password when you forget it. The short Wikipedia:Tutorial/Registration explains why this is a good idea.
