Location and general description of property.—Alabama Central Railway, hereinafter called the carrier, owns and operates a single-track standard-gauge railroad located entirely within the State of Alabama and extends from Booth to Autaugaville, a distance of 8.265 miles.


Corporate history.—The carrier was incorporated December 12, 1903, under the general laws of Alabama, for the purpose of constructing the above-described railroad. Its general office is in Montgomery, Ala. No books or records were kept by the carrier until January, 1912, and none of the costs or circumstances of the construction of its property are a matter of record.
