The owned main line extends westwardly from Colver Heights to Dobson Junction, thence northwardly to Manver, a distance of 20.759 miles, with a branch line of 4.209 miles from Rexis to Dobson Junction and one of 12.519 miles from Regan Junction to Revloc, a total of 37.487 miles of main track.


The property of this company has been operated by its own organization during its entire life.

CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated June 15, 1904, under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania as the Blacklick and Yellow Creek Railroad Company, Effective April 20, 1911, its name was changed to the Cambria and Indiana Railroad Company.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

Of the 37.487 miles of road owned by the carrier on date of valuation, it had acquired about 10 miles from the Vinton Lumber Company, Limited, and about 27.487 miles by construction. The dates on which the various portions of the line were opened for operation and the manner in which the carrier acquired the property are indicated in the following table.
