The railroad of Indiana Northern Railway Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad located entirely within the city of South Bend, Ind. The carrier owns 0.931 mile of road and 0.673 mile of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 1.604 miles of all tracks owned. There is no grading. The road is ballasted with cinders on natural surface. The ties are of oak. Rail is mainly 80-pound and was new when laid.
