The railroad of The Marianna & Blountstown Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in northwestern Florida. The main line extends from Marianna to Blountstown, Fla., a distance of 28.482 miles. The carrier also owns 1.669 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 30.151 miles of all tracks owned. It also operates under trackage rights over about 15 miles of the logging road of the Blountstown Manufacturing Company between Blountstown and Scotts Ferry, Fla. The carrier leases most of its rail and fastenings from the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company.
