The railroad owned by the Thomas Railroad Company, hereinafter called the Thomas Railroad, is a single-track, standard-gage, steam railroad, extending from West Catasauqua to Hokendauqua, Pa., a distance of 1.272 miles.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The Thomas Railroad was incorporated December 15, 1906, under the general laws of Pennsylvania. By an agreement dated February 15, 1917, this company and the Ironton Railroad agreed to consolidate, subject to the approval of the Public Service Commission of Pennsylvania. This approval has not been obtained as of date of valuation.
