The railroad of the Western Allegheny Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard gauge steam railroad, located in western Pennsylvania. The main line extends easterly from West Pittsburgh to Brady's Bend, a distance of 48.096 miles. The carrier also owns 16.742 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 64.838 miles of all tracks owned and used.

CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated April 2, 1902, under the general laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the purpose of constructing a railroad from Euclid station to Kaylor, Pa.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the carrier amounting to about 48.096 miles, was constructed by it during the years 1903 and 1907.
