The railroad of Wildwood and Delaware Bay Short Line Railroad Company, herein called the carrier, is a single-track, standard-gauge, steam railroad, located in the southeastern part of New Jersey. The owned mileage extends northwesterly from Wildwood to Wildwood Junction, 4.032 miles. The carrier also owns yard and side tracks totaling 1.858 miles. Its road thus embraces 5.890 miles of all tracks owned. In Appendix 1 will be found a general description of the property of the carrier.


Corporate history.—The carrier was incorporated on June 14, 1910, under the general laws of New Jersey. The detailed facts as to the development of the fixed physical property are given in Appendix 2.
