Crash Team Racing[edit]

I worked on this article about the same time as I did with Crash Nitro Kart. Now that I've improved the page up to about a similar level to that of Nitro Kart (which was recently promoted to Good Article status), I thought I'd get the opinion of professionals on this page before I potentially nominate it for Good Article status. • Comments: It's obvious that you've put a lot of love into this article, and for the most part you've succeeded. These are the only problems that come out at me:
    • The introduction is a bit minimalist. Expand it with a few details about the gameplay and plot.
    • On the other hand, why is the sequel mentioned in the introduction but nowhere else? Add something about it at the end of "Development", or the end of "Reception" if you introduce it with something like "Due to the success of Crash Team Racing..."
    • The section "Racing modes" goes into too much detail. It should contain overviews of the various race modes and be shorter than it is.
    • File:CTRCharRoster.JPG isn't of very good quality, and the characters are small and hard to see. If you think this image should stay, make it a bit bigger and produce a list of the characters as can be seen in the character selection screenshot in Diddy Kong Racing.
    • Is it "Nitros Oxide" in this game and "Nitrous Oxide" in the other Crash Bandicoot games? This could very well be the case; I'm just asking. Tezero (talk) 17:07, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
On the subject of the antagonist's name, it is spelled Nitros Oxide in this one game and as Nitrous Oxide in subsequent appearances. As such, his name is spelled Nitros only in the Crash Team Racing article. In articles centering on other games or an aspect of the series as a whole, his name is spelled as Nitrous.
