Boats and ships[edit]

National Register of Historic Places listings in Seattle, Washington still lacks the following:

  • MV Vashon: Wrecked off of Prince of Wales Island (Alaska) in 1986. Apparently some wreckage is still visible, if anyone up that way can get a photo.
  • SS San Mateo: dying up in Canada. Does anyone have an image of it from the old days, or can get one of the remnants?
  • Schooner Martha: Definitely still in use, but where is it?

  • Great American Food and Beverage Co. Street Clock: GAF&B is now the Lake Union Cafe (used as a banqueting hall). The clock is long gone. Anyone have a photo?
  • Rohrer House, 122 37th Ave. E. I shot a (boring) view from the street, but the interesting view would be from the back. I know they have given an occasional tour. Does anyone have a photo, or could someone arrange to get one?
