Chronology of Historical events

Now, I am not trying to cram Christianity down anyone's throats, but does anyone think that maybe just a little fragment should be stuck in naming the time of Jesus Christ? I mean since our history is sorta chronolized around his life and death?Prussian725 (talk) 02:26, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

This page is a non-comprehensive list of list-articles, in Wikipedia. If the Timeline you are referring to exists, and is not already on this page, then by all means add a link pointing to it.

Should the link for the list of IRC clients be changed to the new link?

{{editsemiprotected}} I notice that under "Research tools and resources", near the top of the portal page, the link for "IRC Clients" is to the List_of_IRC_clients. However, this page redirects to Comparison_of_Internet_Relay_Chat_clients. Should the link for "IRC Clients" be changed to the new link, or kept the same? I am a new user to Wikipedia and I don't know what the guidelines are on changing links to the new titles, although in my experience with other wikis, people have usually changed the link to the new title. (Not to mention the fact that I can't edit this page anyway, as my account is too young to edit semi-protected pages). If anyone knows the policy on this, please feel free to make edits accordingly. Thanks. Milos K (talk) 15:15, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Not done:The general policy on this is: don't bother unless the redirect is now to something irrelevant. This falls under the general principle of "Don't fix it if it ain't broke", and is codified as part of the official Redirect guideline. Hope that helps! Okay, thank you. I just wanted to make sure. Milos K  20:58, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
