Notes[edit]

  1. User:Splarka/Watchlist_bug and User:Freakofnurture/Sandbox need some investigation - maybe this already happened and I missed it. Concerned to see 7000+ revisions of a page vanish in the histories
  2. Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/YYYY-MM-DD should probably be suppressed from the list.
  3. User talk pages are presumably suppressed - there should be a note

Agree with all the above. If implemented this report would certainly be more useful and informative. -- œ 16:32, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lies, damned lies, and statistics. :-)
Regarding your first two points, these pages do have this many watchers. Usually this is as a result of page moves. (When a page is moved, both the redirect and the target are then watched.)
Regarding your third point, it is impossible to watch a subject-space page without watching its corresponding talk page (or vice versa). --MZMcBride (talk) 02:32, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Little Barrier Island[edit]

Is Little Barrier Island really that watched of a page? Devourer09 (t·c) 02:21, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. It inherited the Main Page's watchers at some point. This is apparent in the page move log. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:30, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that's interesting. Anyone editing that article should make sure to use WP:RS to back up their claims. Devourer09 (t·c) 15:03, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In case anyone is wondering why Lea Luboshutz has so many page watchers: <https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&page=Draft%3ALea+Luboshutz>. --MZMcBride (talk) 06:10, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Update?[edit]

It's been four years since this page has been updated. Considering the popularity of Wikipedia, there is almost no way that this list is not outdated. I would love to see how this list has changed in the last several years.

I, too, would love to see an updated list. //Lollipoplollipoplollipop::talk 15:36, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
