Bill Lamb[edit]

Bill Lamb certainly writes a lot of reviews! I've been going through the wiki and deleting his opinions, and after 100 removals I'm worn out.

I tried to find Lamb myself to make sure he had some publishing cred, but all I could find was a different Bill Lamb who is older but no less opinionated, the general manager and president of WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky.

Perhaps we can keep Lamb for simple facts that any reporter could get right, such as who produced a song, or how many units it sold. It's his musical opinion that is suspect, right? Binksternet (talk) 11:36, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I personally have no problem with that, but I don't want to speak definitively on the issue. About.com has been discussed at length numerous times — here are three different discussions just from the Albums Project. This critics table was a sort of compromise on the issue.--¿3family6 contribs 14:55, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think the Bill Lamb column should say "Yes" now. Since that last About.com discussion, he has appeared to change his profile to state that he's a contributor on music at the Wisconsin Gazette. Here's one of his articles there, as an example. Kokoro20 (talk) 05:53, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tijana Ilich[edit]

Tijana Ilich was a former writer for the Latin music section of About.com before Carlos Quintana took over. Info about her can be found here. A quick search on Google only brings two books which mentions her name, but I'm not sure if that's enough to warrant a "Yes". At the very least, could her name be added listed explaining she is(n't) a reviewer that can be used? Erick (talk) 16:35, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find anything describing work that she's done outside of About.com. I'll add her as an unreliable source.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 04:46, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Juan Mesa[edit]

Another review for Latin music. According to his bio, he worked with El Tiempo (Colombia's most well-known newspaper) and was an editor on Billboard en Español (verified). Would this suffice as reliable? Erick (talk) 18:53, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, those are sufficient.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 01:32, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
