The Cities Hannover and Göttingen are not mentioned as independant urban districts. Why? Hannover is "kreisfreie Stadt" with about half a Million Inhabitants and Göttingen is also a " Kreisfreie Stadt" with about 120,000 Inhabitants. --Gabriel-Royce 14:12, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Göttingen is not Kreisfrei, see de:Göttingen and this district website. Hanover is a bit different (see de:Hannover, the district of Hanover is not a Kreis but a Region. Formally, Hanover is not district-free, but it has many privileges of district-free cities. Markussep Talk 14:55, 13 June 2007 (UTC). Correction, now I see this: de:Liste der kreisfreien Städte in Deutschland, which says that Göttingen and Hanover are Kreisfrei, although they belong to a district. Funny. A Bit crazy isn't it? I would mention them.--Gabriel-Royce 13:55, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They're already mentioned at Urban districts of Germany. I added them to Lower Saxony and this list here as well.
