Inaccuracy of the list[edit]
It's worth noting that pages created within the month polled do not get counted in this survey. Thus, the September 2010 list does not include 2010 Canterbury earthquake, despite that page receiving 184594 hits, which would have placed it tenth in the list of most-viewed pages.
