I find it quite hard to comprehend how we have NO article on the overall history of Oklahoma. Perhaps we can begin collecting all the history of OK articles in a list, then use them in a team project to build a History of Oklahoma article. Kukini 12:45, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I was quite surprised myself. It'll probably be a good collaboration project once we've finished hitting the OSU/OU pages. Actually, feel free to start compiling things in its talk page (see the todo section). I'm really beginning to enjoy {{todo}}. -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 13:02, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we should alsos stub this out a bit on your talk page so we can get it to qualify for WP:DYK? -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 13:04, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am cool with the creation of a userpage stub so that we can collaborate for a little while to get it on WP:DYK. The only fear is that someone else might make a stub while we are working on it. But I figure a significant work like that should still work. Do you want to use this page [1] as a template? It was a mainpage feature last year. Kukini 13:14, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds very good. We may ultimately need something like {{AZhistory}} too, we'll see. -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 13:21, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It might make sense to get Oklahoma up to FA candidate status before taking on something like the History of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma article has far more visability. Most likely, we can start building up the history article while we work on Oklahoma. -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 17:07, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Politics of Oklahoma[edit]

There is an excellent Wikipedia "list" article called List of politics by U.S. state; each of the 50 states is listed (including Oklahoma). Some have articles (Politics of California, Politics of Ohio, and Politics of Texas). We need to write one! So far, there is no Politics of Oklahoma article; I will agree to start it; even a stub article would be better than nothing. Thank you all! ProfessorPaul 01:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to add an article to expand[edit]

I am trying to add Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City as a Wiki article on Oklahoma to expand. ProfessorPaul 03:56, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please be accurate[edit]

As a native Oklahoman with family here for Many generations, (Edwards Stage Stop, Red Oak, Oklahoma - 1830's) please verify the accuracy of what you are putting on these sites. I checked on the entry for a boyhood friend and saw it was wrong. (Mark Price was born in Bartlesville, lived in Norman and Pheonix as a boy, and graduated highschool in Enid. Come on guys lets tell it write or just leave it alone.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.245.50.29 (talkcontribs)
