1.Based on my own review It's a great article, the article does give us the definition of the software engineering and a lot of great feedback about it and also breaks down the history of it where it first started back in 1940's and the list goes on

2.In my opinion I wouldn't suggest the author to change anything from the article because everything's that says in it, came from a great source.

3. The author could've have more preferences in my opinion.
