Babak Tafti is an American actor best known for recurring roles on Super Pumped and Billions.[1]
Early life[edit]
Tafti was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Career[edit]
Tafti graduated from the Yale School of Drama. He appeared as Saeed in the 2012 production of the J.T. Rogers play Blood and Gifts at La Jolla Playhouse.[2] The following year, he reprised his role as Khadi Asmann in the Off-Broadway debut of Rajiv Joseph's play The North Pool; he had previously performed the role at the Barrington Stage Company.[3][4] He later appeared as Claudio in the Barrington Stage Company's 2017 production of Much Ado About Nothing.[5] That year, he also performed in the world premiere of The Profane by Zayd Dohrn.[6]
After appearing in small roles on television, Tafti was cast in a lead role as Emil Michael on Super Pumped in 2022. He appeared in a recurring role on Billions the following year.[1]
