Buzaaya

Buzaaya was a Basoga chiefdom in what is today Uganda. It was founded around 1720 and lasted until 1906, when it was incorporated into the united Busoga protectorate and its royal line was terminated.

Buzaaya is also a county in Kamuli District, Uganda. Isaac Musumba, a Ugandan lawyer and politician, served as the elected member of parliament (MP) representing "Buzaaya County", Kamuli District, from 1996 until 2011. Buzaaya County is currently represented by Mugabi Muzaale Martin Kisule, a member of the National Resistance Movement in the Parliament of Uganda.[1].
